Welcome to the current Moments of Rapture contest, Today, Tomorrow and Always.
Moments of Rapture was created on September 9, 2001 to celebrate the relationship between Heero Yuy and Duo Maxwell from
Gundam Wing. The theme of this year's
contest was chosen to commemorate the first 10 years of Moments of Rapture.
For the 2011/12 contest, the challenge is to write a fanfiction that includes some kind of
anniversary. It can be a romantic anniversary, but
the contest isn't limited to that. Any kind of anniversary is acceptable. The main focus doesn't have to be the anniversary, but
it should be more than a passing mention in the story.
Please note that Moments of Rapture will once again be hosting a separate category for stories in which Heero and Duo are not the main pairing.
Heero/Duo Category
1. Stories should be submitted by May 31, 2012. Stories should be sent to:
sharona1x2@yahoo.com.
2. All submissions must be new fiction, not posted anywhere else. Stories may
not be posted elsewhere until after the results of the contest have been announced.
3. Authors may enter as many stories as they wish. Authors may enter both
categories, if they wish.
4. There is no word limitation for the stories that may be submitted.
5. Deathfics will be allowed, but must be clearly labeled as such. Please remember, the focus of
this website is on romance. Most readers don't consider deathfics romantic.
6. No threesome fics involving Heero and/or Duo will be allowed.
Other characters in a threesome are allowed.
7. Heero and Duo may only be paired romantically/sexually with each other. Past romantic or sexual relationships with
other pilots (including Zechs and Treize) are not allowed. If such a past relationship
with any other character (one of the Gundam Wing female characters, original male or original female characters) has occurred
and needs to be mentioned, it should not be a big focus of the overall story. If you have any questions/concerns about

8. Stories will be made available for reading beginning July 1, 2012. Results of the voting will be made available on September 9, 2012
(the 11th anniversary of Moments of Rapture).
Non-Heero/Duo Category
Rules 1-7 of the Heero/Duo category also apply to this category.
Additional rules:
1. Any romantic/sexual pairing not involving Heero and/or Duo is allowed as the main pairing. Although this is a yaoi site,
the main pairing doesn't have to be a yaoi pairing.
2. Heero and Duo do not have to be part of the story.
1. All stories will be posted in their respective categories on July 1, 2012. Separate voting will be set
up for each category. Voting will end on September 8, 2012. Winners will be announced on September 9, 2012.
2. All stories will be posted without the author's name, to make the voting as fair as possible.
3. Authors of the stories with the most number of votes will be given a choice between a piece of art commissioned for their story, or an online gift
certificate. The number of entries will determine the number of prizes awarded.
4. Categories will be divided into long and short fiction for Heero/Duo stories, with prizes awarded to each.
A prize will be awarded for one non-Heero/Duo story.
5. All stories in both categories will be archived at Moments of Rapture.
