It's a challenge but Heero puts up with it. Every movie night, when Duo plops on the couch, grinning, with a bowl of buttered popcorn in his hands, Heero nods and resigns himself to have icky buttery fingers.

Tonight is no exception, and as Heero watches a gun fight on the vid, he eats the popcorn, trying not to think about how his hands will smell of butter all night long. But then, something happens, something that has never happened before.

Duo's fingers brush Heero's inside the empty bowl, but instead of pulling away and smiling, like he always does, Duo curls his fingers around Heero's and slowly brings them to his lips. One by one, Duo licks Heero's fingers clean. Licks them slowly, while looking at Heero in the eyes.

"Mmm... tasty," Duo says when he's done, a nervous smile on his face.

Heero wants to say something but he doesn't know what, so he stays silent, and Duo asks, "Can I taste some more?" He's not sure of what Duo means but he nods anyway, and then, Duo's lips are on his, kissing, tasting.

It ends too soon and Duo's smile is even more nervous than before, but now Heero knows what to say, so he smiles and asks if he too can have a taste.
