Thirty Second Gundam Wing: The Power by Kracken
"You are not human," Duo said suspiciously. "I am," Heero replied, rubbing his arms. "If I weren't, this wouldn't hurt so bad." "You flipped over a goddam car, Heero," Duo pointed out as he reached and began kneading the arm closest to him. "You name me anyone who can do that. I think you're some kind of gene engineered hybrid, with some mechanical parts --" "You're suggesting that I'm a robot?" Heero growled, looking offended. "Partly," Duo replied as he worked his way down to Heero's elbow. "It would explain it. I mean... a car, Heero... a damned car! You just flipped it over like it was nothing." "I've never been able to do it before," Heero pointed out, groaning as Duo hit a particularly sore muscle. "Guess not," Duo grunted thoughtfully and then met Heero's eyes searchingly. "Why this time, do you think?" They were both silent, Duo's hands poised, but not going any further, and then Heero said softly, "Because you were under the car, Duo. When the jack slipped.... I had to save you.... and I did. The strength just... came to me." Duo took Heero's hand in his and squeezed tightly. 'Did I thank you?" "I don't... no, I don't suppose that you did," Heero replied. Seated on the exam table, Heero was a little higher than Duo. He gently pulled Heero forward and gave him a small, tentative kiss on the lips. He whispered around the kiss, "Thank you, Heero." Heero smiled, kissed Duo deeper, and then pulled him in close, ignoring the scream of over taxed muscles. "What do I get if I lift a bus... or a gundam?" Duo snickered. "Oh, you don't have to do that. I intend to keep thanking you for the car."
